Some surprising transfer news .. Mesbah is very close to joining AC Milan ! The deal should be finished today if all goes well.

Having a player play for AC Milan won't change anything, it's the same player .. and anyways, to be honest, I don't think he's good enough to be a regular for them

Are you serious? he's way better than Taiwo going forward and in defence. Who are you comparing him to anyways?

I haven't seen Taiwo with Milan this season (I heard he's sucked) .. but no way is he better than the Taiwo from previous seasons, neither defensively nor in attack.

And I meant in general, I don't see Mesbah being a regular for a club like AC Milan that is playing the CL and the top of the Serie A table. I hope he proves me wrong but I find him to be a very average player (very consistent at being average though, I'll give him that lol).

Mesbah signed a four and a half year contract with AC Milan today

I can only imagine how many Algerians will rush out to buy his jersey now

Ok true, but who in that position that stands out these days? other than Bail (not so much as of late lol)... I watch the calcio every week and I seriously think he's one of the best left backs in the calcio that actually standout for their team.

Who knows, maybe the Milan pressure could get to him. He's gotta be smart and make the most out of it, because it can either make him a star, or ruin his career

This week's News:
  • Ziani possibly moving to Sunderland?
  • Antar Yahia got released from Al Nasr
  • Hadj Bouguèche moved to Al Nasr (some say the team got rid of Yahia to purchase him.. not sure how true that is)
  • Majid Bougherra on FIFA Football Mondiale

  • Fouad Kadir scores two goals and gets an assist against Bastia in the French Cup

Feghouli had an assist yesterday against Barca as Valencia took a surprise lead .. but Barca replied with 5 goals to win 5-1 lol :

Also, Ghezzal came on as a sub for Levante and got a penalty and was also involved in the second goal .. but Levante lost 5-3

Feghouli played really well, but his teammates don't give him a chance at all.. several times he was wide open on counter-attacks and they never pass it to him

Who saw Ghezzal today ?? Huge game ! He had an assist in Levante's 3-1 win over Real Betis and was the best player on the field. He got a standing ovation when he was subbed off. Hopefully it gives him the confidence he so desperately lacks and needs. Just goes to show his qualities as a player.

I didn't watch it but I read the comments and it wasn't pretty. I've always found Mesbah to be average, albeit consistent at it, so not surprised to be honest.

Definitely an awesome game for Ghezzal, I watched the game and I don't think I've seen him as involved with any team as he was in this game. Good for him! you can tell how much it meant to him. What's awesome is that he celebrated at the end with the Algerian flag on his shoulders

Did you see his control and dribble to set up the second goal? It's not in the video I posted .. I don't know how anyone can watch him play and complain because he doesn't score, he does so much on the field. He's very under-appreciated.

I know! wallah totally agree... it's no surprise that he never fails to get a team.. that in itself is a clear indication that he's not "useless" as most Algerians think.
