Many people say it's a nice movie, I didn't have the chance to watch it at the JCC in Tunis I hope to have this chance soon. Thank you

This is one of the best novels of Yasmina Khadra, so that it won two awards :
-Prix Roman France Télévisions in 2008.
-Prix des Lecteurs corses in 2009.
And it has been elected as the best book of 2008 by "Lire" magazine too.
I baught a version of the book but I left it in Algeria, I'll get it back Insha'Allah. And this is the first time I hear about the movie... I'll definitely watch it Insah'Allah.
Thanks for sharing !

The movie was out during Cannes festivals Kamylood. And you're in France now? Not surprising at all, I was expecting it. I wish you the best of luck

I just watched it, It was a long movie for me, 2h42mn... And so many hot scenes for an Algerian movie !!
Not surprising at all, I was expecting it.
How can you expect that ? I didn't sign-in in a very long while, and I didn't mention any thing before !

I really liked this movie, I was surprised it was Algerian!
And the story was great as well.
Was it directed by an Algerian director?
And so many hot scenes for an Algerian movie !!
Agreed, that was my first impression after I finished it.
I wanted to watch it with the family since it's an Algerian movie, not gonna happen..

I just found the full movie on youtube by accident, and came to post it here then read Kamylood's statement about bad scenes in the movie. It has just started in my computer so I waas going to post it without watching.
Anyway, Kamylood, how I expected it, you're just a typical Algerian student with dreams and motivations. There are two, those who have dreams, and those who just want to earn money.

There is hope as long as some people in Algeria are thinking the same way you are doing. Alhamdulillah.
