Identity is a novel written by Brother Adam Taha, this was wriiten fresh from his mind, his determination, commitment, passion, time and effort has gone into this, with also the responsibility of running a bussines and supporting his family. Musa is a Muslim teenager living in UK. He lives with his parents and they don't practise their way of life (Islam). They are far too busy working and Musa is gradually losing hope and faces an identity crisis. The community mosque cannot help him because the mosque has hired a non-English speaking Imam from Pakistan. And there are no facilities in the mosques that is geared towards mentorship, life skills or training of any kind except recitation of the Holy Qur'an. Musa's friends learnt the Qur'an but don't know the meaning of the verses. They don't even know the meaning of the Shahadah (Declaration of Faith) and they just follow each other. Organisations are too busy bickering amongst themselves to notice the youths are confused on who is leading who. Musa is losing grip of reality. It looks like Musa will never find his answer to the meaning of life, Islam and his purpose. The world seems too big; he feels alone and lost between two worlds. There seems to be no hope.
