salam Hello and welcome to lection nr.2

I am very happy to meet you here again although I have some concurrence here :D

Well first I wanna give you a little summary about the last lection ...

I have told you that in german language we have three definite articles : “der” , “die” and “das” .

"Der" refer to something male
"Die" refer to something female
"Das" refer to something without gender ( thing ^^)

So if you learn german vocabularies it’s the best when you learn the vocabulary with the article. Because that’s the easiest way to get used to them and to get a feeling wich article belongs to wich word ^_^ ...

If you don’t know what I am speaking about , then look back into Lection nr. 1 . Because that’s really really important to go step by step and lection by lection :D , otherwise you will have some complications ... :P :D

Ok , lets continue and start with lection nr. 2 .. : DECLINATION

Here I wanna give you some examples how the sentence is structured in german language .

Lets start with a simple sentence :

Der Junge spricht deutsch -> the boy speaks german ( pronouce : der yoongke shprisht doytsh).

Like you can see here , it’s a very simple sentence. Like in english ... So in most times you can adapt german in english one to one.

That sounds good , doesn’t it ?! :D

Now that the definite article is known , let’s move on and learn now this : ( personal pronouns ) ^_^
...............
I : Ich ( ish )
you : du ( do )
he : er ( aihr )
she : sie ( zee )
it : es ( aiss )
we : wir ( veer )
you : ihr ( eehr )
they : sie ( zee
)

Ok , Now lets make a declination with a regular verb like : spielen ( infinitif form ) ( meaning : “to play”).
Time form is present !!

Ich spiele ( ich shpeeleh )
Du spielst ( do shpeelst )
Er, sie es spielt ( aihr , zee , aiss shpeelt )
Wir spielen ( veer shpeelen )
Ihr spielt ( eehr shpeelt )
Sie spielen ( zee shpeelen )

So the stem is always spiel. That means without “en” at the end. And then you add the ending of the person that you want to use ( it's marked in red ) ... come on guys and girls :D ... it’s still easy !!!

Now we will do an exercise , it’s your turn to make a declination with the verb “gehen” (to go) and “legen” (to put).

Like in the example it’s the same ;) , just try it and in next lection (inshallah) I will give you the solutions :P ...

Now that you know the a very simple basic of declination it’s time to know some new words ^_^ .. . Because for a language we need vocabularies ;) :

Ger. word : eng. word : pronunciation

Die Schule : the school : die shooleh

Das Haus : the house : das hows

Der Tisch : the table :D : der tish

Die Brille : the glasses : die brilleh

Der Mann : the man : der mahnn ( speak a hard „a“ like in „mama“ :D . Not like a goat makes „maaaah“ ^^)

Spielen : to play : shpeelen

Gehen : to go : gaihen

Schreiben : to write : shraiben ( “ REMEMBR : in german language we don’t have the “r” like “rai”, we always say : “r” like “ghazala” ^^ )

Wie geht es dir ? : how are you ? : vee gait aiss deer ?

Gut : good : goot

Schnell : fast : shnehll

In : in : in

Zu : at : tsu ( but it can also have an other meaning …)

verstehen : understand : fershtaihehn

Ok , I think that’s enough for today ^_^ ... It’s more more much than last time. But step by step... and with the help from the good link from Walid :D :D ... you will make fast steps inshaallah ^^

As last exercise for today you can try to write this sentence : “the man goes fast in the school” in german ;) .

And here a Table to know how to pronunce the german words ... I found it in Internet :D

Pronunciation

a....................... ah
e....................... eh
i........................ ee or ih
o....................... oh
ِ....................... eh, but with rounded lips
u....................... oo
b....................... b, but p at end of syllable
d....................... d, but t at end of syllable
g....................... g, but k at end of syllable

by the way, the sound pronounciation are from leo ;) , it’s not my voice

( have fun , when you have time to read the whole lecture ;) :D )

umgangssprachlich Akkordarbeit weiblich ;)

What can my enemies possibly do to me? My paradise is in my heart; wherever I go it goes with me, inseparable from me. For me, prison is a place of (religious) retreat; execution is my opportunity for martyrdom; and exile from my town is but a chance to travel ......
