Slumdog Millionaire
Rated PG-13, violence in the film
The story of how impoverished Indian teen Jamal Malik became a contestant on the Hindi version of "Who Wants to be A Millionaire?" -- an endeavor made without prize money in mind, rather, an effort to prove his love for his friend Latika, who is an ardent fan of the show.

ohh me to i had tears in my eyes when they lost their mom in the raid, and how they struggled and not one person cared for them only used them for their own benifits, it is a different kind of film,

This movie is winning a lot of Oscars ey?!

I watched it last night.. It has a well written script. Portrays the message well. Can't believe it made it to position 35 as the world's best movie ever.

Big achievement to the Brits :D

It was a good movie, but WAY too over hyped.
One official review was,

"Feel good film of the decade"

Some how I don't think so, but maybe of the year.

watched it a few nights ago and thought it was great, I think the reason everyone is talking about it because it's so different from the norm', plus many hollywood movies don't build up their characters enough for you to care what happens to them, this one played with your emotions and made you laugh and cry
Truly, to Allaah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return

Yes please explain Fatony, that's plain confusing! I cried too and I don't live with my mum either.

It's not upsetting to see people being treated so badly?
