Here is how my accents sounds according to people who know me
lol.. I'm kind of scared of sticking out in Algeria with it.

My link

People from Texas also speak in something called Colloquialisms which
is a speech distinctive to a certain regional area or culture.
For examples. (For Starters)

he couldn't poor pee out of a boot if it came with hole in the bottom
and instructions in the middle (Meaning someone is really stupid)

Let Sleeping Dogs lie (Leave Well Enough alone)

He thinks the sun comes up just to hear him Crow( He is very Vain)

All hat and no cattle ( Someone who talks a lot but doesn't do anything)

People also abbreviate commonly used
words

No- Nall
You-Yall
Far Away-Yonder
I'm not- I Ain't

Some people love it some people hate it but your never "on the fence"
(In between
So I'm packing up and I'm headed west
My mind's made up, I'll put it to the test
Pushing myself and this old machine
Burning fumes and what's left of my dreams
Let 'em go cause I don't need no strings
Just give me a road and a Little Gasoline

Don't worry most Americans don't talk like this. Only people from
The South. Even some people Born and raised in Texas don't talk like
this. Here is a link on the Southern States of America for anyone not
from the US interested in learning about it. The good the bad and the ugly
are included. lol

There are people with experience and people with opinions. Listen to one, smile at the other.
