When we marry, or, our siblings, aunts/uncles marry then the family of our spouse, or, our brother's/sister's/aunt's/uncle's spouse, become our in-laws. We refer to them as our brother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt-in-law, uncle-in-law, mother-in-law, father-in-law. This is sometimes shortened to bil, or mil for instance. We don't call them this all the time, usually it's only when refering to them to someone else, to avoid confusion with our blood family.
Truly, to Allaah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return

If our parents re-marry, then their partner becomes our step parent, step mother or step father. If they already have children then they become our step brother or step sister. However if the children share one parent with us, they become our half brother/sister

There are people with experience and people with opinions. Listen to one, smile at the other.
