This should work with any photoshop. it's one of the basic functions of photoshop

Well, thanks for providing such a good tutorial, this makes use of the functionalities that we don't really use a lot!
But a tutorial for beginners would be great for those of us who are just starting with PhotoShop !

ok so when you create the gradient and have so many bars, select it and then Hold down the shift key (this will make your line straight and not crooked) and then click with your mouse and drag across the page until you see a line and then let go of your click and you should see the gradient

I finally made it! it took me quite a while hehehe
So here's the outcome, tell me why it does look crippled (I'll get arrested for distorting the national flag if anyone sees it :D )!!!!!!!!!!!!!
